3 PASTOR WIVES THAT MADE IMPACT BEFORE THEY DIED

 




When we lose loved ones, the depth of hurt cannot be described. There is automatically a vacuum in our hearts, but we thank God for always filling us up whenever we feel down. 


Today, we will be talking about 3 pastor wives that left a golden footprint on the earth before passing on to glory.


Bimbo Odukoya 




Abimbola Rosemary "Bimbo" Odukoya  was born on September 12, 1960. She was a Nigerian pastor and televangelist who got married to the founder of the Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya.

Odukoya, often called "Pastor Bims," was a receiver of over 60 national and international awards for her contributions to nation-building, the development of her country, Nigeria, and the West Africa sub-region, and for leadership as a woman of high moral standards and a role model to many.





Bimbo odukoya was a mother of 3, an exceptional woman that radiates the light of God everywhere she goes.

 A writer, popular televangelist, highly sought conference speaker, youth mentor, and marriage counselor, she was one of several individuals chosen by Samsung to represent Nigeria in carrying the Olympic Torch in Athens, Greece at the 2004 Olympic Games. She died as a result of the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash. December 11, 2005



Abiodun Kumuyi




Born to the Olowu family of Epe on January 7, 1952, Abiodun attended Baptist Primary School, Surulere in Lagos. She studied Business and Secretarial Studies at the Federal College of Education, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos. On September 13, 1980, in Lagos, Abiodun married her erstwhile Bible Study teacher, Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi, and the marriage was blessed with two sons, Jeremiah and John. 


She was fondly called Mummy or Mama by members of the church, and spear-headed the establishment of the Christian Women Mirror magazine. Through that ministry, multitudes of women were saved from their sins and obtained other Christian experiences of sanctification and Holy Ghost baptism.

Abiodun Kumuyi was an energetic, dynamic, and visionary woman but sadly she was unable to attend the Church’s Easter Retreat in the year 2009 because of her sickness. She died on Saturday, April 11, 2009, in her room after watching her husband's sermon during the retreat that was transmitted to her by satellite in her home at the International Bible Training Centre, Ayobo, Ipaja, a suburb of Lagos.



Ibidunni Ituah-ighodalo 




Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-ighodalo, was born on the 19th of July, 1980 in Oyo State, Ibadan to the late Olaleye Ajayi family.

She studied Microbiology at the University of Lagos, Akoka before she further got training in Business Management from the Lagos Business School. 

While still in school, Helen Ajayi, participated in a beauty contest which she eventually won and was crowned Miss Lux. That was the beginning of a new stage in her life.





Ibidunni was married to Pastor Iuah ighodalo, the senior pastor of Trinity house church lagos. She was also a renowned and successful event planner in Nigeria She founded Elizabeth R, a PR and events management company in 2003. She went ahead to launch her luxury 4000-capacity event center ‘The Dorchester’ in 2014 and also had a Bridal store Avant Grade.

Her event company Elizabeth R was in charge of decorating isolation centers. She had traveled to Port Harcourt to complete one of the projects when she died in her hotel room in Port Harcourt in the early hours of June 14, 2020, the Cause of death was ruled to be cardiac arrest.



Indeed we cannot say they are dead, they are away.

With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand, they wandered into an unknown land;


We pray that their souls will continue to rest in perfect peace.
